Eagle Plant
Eagle Plant are a long established tool and plant hire company based in Chard, Somerset. They have 26 branches across the South West of England.
Originally, each branch had its own lines and small phone systems but as the business expanded, costs started to spiral.
We supplied Eagle plant with a new advanced Panasonic NS700 IP Platform phone system at head office and installed 85 remote IP handsets across all 26 branches, all connected back to the main system over the internet. 70+ company-wide phone lines were rationalised centrally down to just a 20-line SIP line circuit at head office with all of their geographic phone numbers coming in on the new line circuit.
They basically created their own hosted phone system. Each branch still operates independently (via system programming) with their own phone numbers but as part of a single, central phone system, calls can seamlessly be transferred around the company and between geographic locations, for the convenience of callers.
Free and unlimited internal calls between their branches, together with the centralisation of their lines has made massive savings to Eagle Plant’s telecoms costs.
